Day 01: Arrival in Colombo, transfer to Negombo, evening lagoon walk and seafood tasting, overnight in Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your private driver. Transfer to Negombo, a coastal town known for its fishing culture and colonial canals. Take a leisurely evening walk along the lagoon and enjoy casual seafood tasting from local vendors. Relax at your hotel and absorb the gentle seaside atmosphere.

Day 02: Drive to Anuradhapura, guided tour, village walk, cultural evening, overnight in Anuradhapura

Travel north to Anuradhapura. Visit the sacred stupas and the ancient Bodhi tree with a knowledgeable guide. In the afternoon, explore a nearby village and interact with local artisans. In the evening, enjoy storytelling sessions that reveal cultural insights into Sri Lanka’s traditions. Stay overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 03: Transfer to Sigiriya, Sigiriya Rock Fortress sunrise climb, Dambulla Cave Temple, optional spice garden, traditional dinner, overnight near Sigiriya

Drive to Sigiriya and climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress at sunrise for breathtaking views. Explore the Dambulla Cave Temple in the afternoon. Optionally, visit a spice or herbal garden nearby to understand traditional uses. End the day with a traditional Sri Lankan dinner at a local home. Overnight near Sigiriya.

Day 04: Drive to Kandy, Temple of the Tooth, cooking class, lake and tea tasting, overnight in Kandy

Travel to Kandy and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. In the afternoon, participate in a traditional cooking class with a local family, learning to prepare authentic Sri Lankan dishes. Explore Kandy Lake and enjoy local tea tasting before settling in for the night in Kandy.

Day 05: Tuk-tuk cultural tour, handicraft/spice workshop, transfer to Colombo, departure

Start the day with a tuk-tuk tour around Kandy’s neighborhoods, experiencing daily life and local culture. Visit a handicraft or spice workshop for a hands-on demonstration. In the afternoon, take a private transfer back to Colombo for your onward journey or departure.
